View of multi-functional volume
The Princeton Charter School is a K through 4th grade ground-up project, commissioned after a fire destroyed the original building. The project is part of a larger campus masterplan project with the two heavy sloping volumes serving as the achor points for the surrounding campus to grow - eventually the student body expanding to 500 students currently with aggregating buildings in the surrounds. Featuring a multi-functional space that accommodates additional students today, the building works with the changing topography of the rolling landscape with views to all directions in the site. The project lead was David Eugin Moon for Ralph Lerner Architect PC and was a recipient of an AIA New Jersey award.
